When to use it?

The ACF-50 is designed with the professional aerospace technician in mind. The ACF-50 should be used within the guidelines established by corrosion prevention, control, or repair standards.

Example Motorcycles:

•For maximum protection, ACF-50 should be applied twice a year (Spring and Fall);

•Motorcyclists should apply ACF-50 throughout the year, more frequently on exposed components, depending on the conditions of use of the equipment;

•Before seasonal storage, apply ACF-50 after final wash;

•Off-road riders should use ACF-50 more often due to the corrosive elements of mud and dirt;

•By using ACF-50 as part of your preventative maintenance, you can keep your bike looking like new, always.

The active chemistry of the ACF-50 thin film penetrates the corrosion deposits, where it chemically emulsifies and displaces the electrolyte. This isolation process keeps the corrosion cell inactive.

On the new metal, ACF-50 forms a self-healing barrier that prevents corrosion from starting. ACF-50 remains physically and chemically effective for up to two years.

It is important to note that ACF-50 is also an excellent lubricant, but it does NOT contain wax, resin, silicon or Teflon... compounds that can build up mechanisms, block drain holes, or trap moisture causing corrosion.

How does it work?

ACF-50 chemically treats metal using advanced polar bonding technology. It forms a water-repellent film that pulls moisture away from the metal surface. ACF-50 is water-free and is approved for use on electrical switches and connectors. It will create a water-resistant film on all surfaces. ACF-50 has a strong capillary action so it will glide over all areas where moisture is trapped. It actively pushes moisture away, replacing it with protection.
